The first step in your OpenVitae journey is to introduce yourself by signing up as a recruiter. You can do so by clicking on the "Sign up/Login" button on top of the homepage or by clicking here

Now that you’ve signed up, you can choose to get the documentation out of the way, by signing the OpenVitae agreement here or through the " Sign the Contract " section in your profile. (this isn’t a necessary step to get started, but you’ll need to sign it before you invoice us) Next, you can go through the Open Jobs and choose as many roles as you want to work for, by claiming these jobs. Finally, source candidates independently, in your own time and submit the profiles for your claimed jobs.

Once you submit the candidate profiles, you will receive real-time status updates when your candidate clears each step. You can view the status on the ‘manage candidates’ tab on your profile.

Once the candidate has reached the interview round, you can schedule interviews between your candidate and company using the calend.ly link provided. If you still need clarification on the status of a candidate, you can reach out to our community manager, who will be happy to help you.

All you need to do is check the availability of the candidate for one of the time slots allotted by the company (you’ll know the dates and times from the calend.ly link). Don’t forget to add yourself as a guest when scheduling the interview, so you can receive interview reminders when your candidate receives them.

You earn when a candidate you’ve submitted successfully clears the selection process, gets an offer & joins the company.

You will be eligible to receive 70% of the commission percentage mentioned on the job card. For eg: If your candidate has joined at an annual salary of ₹12 lac and the commission for the role mentioned by the company is 8.33%, you are eligible to receive ₹70,000/- (70% of 8.33% of 12 lac)

Once your candidate has successfully joined the company and has completed 7 working days, you can raise an invoice to OpenVitae. The payment will be processed in less than 30 days from the date of raising the invoice.

The invoice to be raised is exclusive of tax. In the case of a GST invoice, you can charge 18% GST on the amount. In case you do not have a GSTIN, there will be a 10% deductions under section 194J (Professional & Technical Services)

As long as your current employer is aligned with you taking up a side gig and you do not share your employer's confidential information with us, we don’t see any issues.

If a candidate does not fit a specific role, we will try to share the candidate profile with another company for a similar role so as to optimise your efforts.

There are no specified working hours! Login at your convenience and share as many profiles for as many roles as you can to maximise your earning potential.

Not at all! However, we encourage all our recruitment partners to take up more roles and share as many candidates as possible. The more quality profiles you submit, the better your chances of getting closures & getting paid!

Currently, all our recruitment partners source candidates independently through the sourcing platform of their choice.

To value our recruiter community's time & efforts, we don’t retain companies that have longer hiring timelines. The companies in our portfolio are very quick with their responses (48-72 hours after internal shortlisting). Soon, we will be introducing the "Actively Hiring "tag on the job card to choose a role that the company is urgently looking to close.
